Hillary Rodham Clinton for President

Hillary Rodham Clinton won in New Hampshire, and I hope she wins the Democratic nomination for president. She has the brains and the guts to be a great president. She understands domestic issues and international politics. She can stand up to the bullies of the world. She has had a lot of practice standing up to the bullies in the United States. Even the American public can now see through the smears that unscrupulous people have plastered on her.

Senator Clinton attracts hatred the way any high profile and powerful American woman would. Woman-hating in this country and world-wide is astronomical. It is so common that we fail to notice it and take it for granted. At last, many people in the United States are declaring that what Hillary has endured is unfair. Those who smear her have no decency.

Hillary is taking the heat for all women. She is a symbol and reality that women are competent and can hold their own with men. Many men and women want to keep men on the pedestal of power, privilege, and prestige. Hillary is saying, Whoa. I am a woman. I am a leader. I want to lead the United States back to its roots of freedom and justice for all. No more cover-ups of selfish destructive motives through talking about flags, patriotism, and terrorism.

She signals the challenge to the politics of fear and deceit that has damaged this country and many parts of the world.

John Edwards and Barack Obama would also make good presidents, but the time in now for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

If you like the 90s so much that you want the Clintons back then why not bring Britney Spear back too. She was also the so called "super star" back then, and at that time there were quiet a few similiarity between them. They're both from the Southern state, wildly popular especially among young women. The also shared lot of scandals, lot phony public performances, and denials.

People dislike Hillary NOT because she is a woman, but because of her past records, her dishonesty, her bad judgments....There should be and will be a female President in the future. Hillary Clinton, however, is not that person because of her qualification.

I agree with the previous comment. Hillary C. will not make a good president because she has been dishonest in the past about her money acceptance business and because of her policies that fall short of being intelligent, and NOT because she is a woman. Another person from the minority community, Obama, will make a great president because of his ability to lead the nation, and NOT because he is a man.

Hm. Here are two comments from people who feel no commitment to facts. They simply believe the propaganda that the far right has put out. Barack, too, has gotten by with a shoeshine and a smile. He is big on promises but he has not been tested. Where the beef? Hillary has been through fire and is still whole and wants to lead.

I wish people could at least spell Hillary's name right.

Besides, I never said I like the
90s so much. The person who made that comment is not a good thinker because s/he does not base her/his statement on facts in evidence.

This is just the kind of person who voted for George W. Bush, the least popular president the U.S. has ever had.

The blog is for witty people who want to build community. In this world that seems to be so full of witless efforts to self-aggrandize, I want to promote the simple idea of human connection.
